Depression: A Love Story

April 23rd, 2015

Just over a month ago, I had the privilege (or torture – you decide) of doing a Pecha Kucha talk at the ACPA 2015 national convention. A Pecha Kucha, for those of you not in the know, is a six minute, 40 second talk featuring 20 slides that advance automatically every 20 seconds. That’s right – I had no control over the slides advancing. It is both a unique performance and also possibly one of the circles of hell – I can easily say I prepared more for these seven minutes than I have any hour-long presentation I’ve given. In any case, I think it turned out not too shabby. Hope you’ll take a gander and let me know what you think.

  • You did such an excellent job on an important topic, Kristen. I’m sorry I missed in in person while Iw as at ACPA.

Kristen, thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ve told you before, but I am grateful for the role you took in supporting my mental health journey as a new professional. I appreciate your bravery and courage.
